Karl Rove and the ongoing controversy:

This ongoing controversy about giving out information that Valerie Plame Wilson was a CIA operative is sort of unfortunate. You see Donald Rumsfield trying to change the way the pentagon and the defense establishment generally works and you have one of the top guys in the same administration being implicated on this sort of a leak.

But guys and gals, are we not forgetting one of the basic fundamental concepts of Law??

A suspect is presumed innocent till and when the suspect is proved to be guilty.

Asking the president to fire him or anything else depicts the lynch mob mentality in all of us. We are a civilized populace who should think clearly before we act. Let the due investigation happen and then based on the results the action can be taken.

Till then, I will presume Karl Rove to be innocent and would prefer for him to continue in his job.
